The following groups represent key stakeholders that must have a role in shaping plans for rebuilding downtown.

Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC)—a group created to help plan and coordinate the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan.

Rebuild Downtown Our Town (R.Dot)—an alliance of downtown residents, small businesses, and designers

Imagine NY—cosponsored by community planning and advocacy groups, the Municipal Art Society convened public forums across the city and the region to discuss people's visions for rebuilding downtown

New York/New Visions—a coalition of 16 planning, architecture and design groups convened by the New York chapter fo the American Institute of Architects, representing New York's design community

NYC Rebuild/New York City Infrastructure Task Force—a joint venture of the New York City Parternship and the Real Estate Board of New York, representing major businesses and property owners, which has completed an economic impact analysis and is advancing infrastructure proposals

Empire State Transportation Alliance (ESTA)—a coalition of more than 30 transportation, environmental and business groups that is preparing interim and long-range transportation strategies for downtown

Wall St. Rising—a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to restoring the vibrancy and vitality of Lower Manhattan

Gotham Gazette's Rebuilding NYC—an excellent guide to rebuilding, to the attacks' impact on New Yorkers, to the memorial process, charities, governance, economic rebuilding and more

Downtown Express—a free, weekly newspaper covering Tribeca, Battery Park City, the South Street Seaport, and Wall Street area in Lower Manhattan.
