		<description><![CDATA[Soo we don&#039;t lose parking, the bike lanes are safe and there is not a lot of new (hard) infrastructure that needs to be added; and if more people cycle we can reduce our dependancy on foreign oil and reduce our environmental footprint - I am totally against all of this. szroerty

My name is David Vega-Barachowitz and I am a fellow at the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO). Check out the NACTO Urban Bikeway Design Guide (www.c4cguide.org) which provides technical guidance for the most innovative bicycle facilities being built in the US right now (i.e. cycle tracks, bike boxes, bicycle signal heads). Its official release was announced by Jeanette Sadik-Khan last week at the National Bike Summit in Washington D.C. ]]></description>
