		<description><![CDATA[&lt;strong&gt;Lincoln Park proposed in Indianapolis instead of another hotel &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Canal Park Advocates, a citizens&#039; group in Indianapolis, Indiana is very concerned about the erosion of public spaces.  We&#039;re trying to persuade Governor Mitch Daniels to dedicate a downtown park on one-acre of state-owned land instead of another unneeded hotel.  We have secured newly-elected Mayor Greg Ballard&#039;s support of our park proposal, but still need to persuade the Governor, as well as the powers who are planning the Indianapois Cultural Trail which adjoins the property.&lt;/p&gt;
