A Revolution in State DOTs: Context Sensitive Solutions

PPS started working with transportation professionals 20 years ago to bring more context and greater community understanding to their transportation and transit projects. Now, state DOTs across the country are turning to Context Sensitive Solutions as a way to continue providing mobility and transportability for people and goods, while preserving precious community and environmental resources. The Federal Highway Administration itself has identified CSS as one of its "Vital Few Strategies," and has pledged to guide every state DOT to CSS by 2007.
