Brian started at PPS in 2009 to help with communications and conference planning. After a 3 year hiatus for grad school, he recently rejoined the PPS family to assist in the planning and administration of the Public Markets conference as well as the Pro Walk/Pro Bike: Pro Place Conference. His design experience and background in event planning has allowed him to offer a unique addition to the conference planning teams.

Upon graduating from college, Brian joined the US Forest Service where he worked as a wildland firefighter for three years. Following that experience, he worked as an event planner at a NYC based conference center, until finally finding himself at PPS. Brian brings his experience in forestry to use with his passion for sustainability in urban environments where forests are key.

Brian is an avid cook, canner, dehydrator, and homebrewer who is passionate about sustainable food systems.
