Ben Fried

Ben joined the staff of PPS in late 2000, shortly after graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Oberlin College. As a project assistant, Ben helped organize the Great Parks, Great Cities conference in July 2001, contributed to the maintenance of Urban Parks Online after its launch, and created an all-encompassing PPS database that consolidated all existing contact lists into one central location, a huge and important project.

Ben oversaw the technological end of the PPS membership program and its launch, redesigned the PPS Online Store and created online donation forms that greatly simplify the process of giving to PPS. In 2002, Ben will be creating local websites as part of our new web-based approach to projects.
